Inspiration from Košice

An Inspiring Talk by RNDr Jozef Ondáš

Our annual company event, the Year in Review, generated many interesting moments and inspiring encounters. Among them was a discussion between members of our management group and a prominent businessman from Košice, Jozef Ondáš, former CEO of IBM Slovakia, former CEO of SAP Slovakia and former CEO of T-Systems, initiator of the IT Valley association, a man who has made a major contribution to the transformation of Košice and the eastern Slovak region into a region with a strong IT business presence.

We discussed change management, IT Valley and development perspectives of the Eastern Slovak region.

In the first part of the lecture, RNDr. Ondáš emphasised the importance of change management in the dynamic world of the contemporary business environment. He believes that adaptability and flexibility are key to the success of any company.

Another important topic was the IT Valley, of which we are a proud member. RNDr Ondáš talked about the history and importance of this innovative cluster, which brings together technology companies, universities and research institutions. The IT Valley is an example of how collaboration and the sharing of know-how can lead to rapid development and innovation.

At the end of his talk, RNDr Ondáš emphasised the enormous potential of Eastern Slovakia. He is convinced that the region has all the prerequisites to become a major centre of technological innovation and entrepreneurship. Investment in education and infrastructure, as well as support for start-ups, are the key factors in unlocking this potential.
