VAT return forms: updates for 2025
Information on VAT return forms and control statement from 1.1.2025
As we have already informed you, we expect significant changes to the VAT Act from 1 January 2025, however the VAT return and Control report forms will remain unchanged.
The Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic published information in its newsletter that we can expect a new VAT return form only from 1 July 2025. Until this date, the current VAT return form valid from 1 January 2021 is used, however a new instruction on filling it will be issued.
As for the Control report, no new form will be issued for 2025, however an addendum to the instruction on filling in the Control report will also be published. At the same time, we are also awaiting a new XSD scheme for the Control report, which will be available in the middle of December.
